Minor threatens two Evanston females

A minor was reported for assault in two separate incidents Wednesday, Evanston Police Department spokesman Jay Parrott said.

The accused male, who Parrott said was about 15, first threatened a 20-year-old female near the corner of Foster Street and Darrow Avenue. Parrott said the woman reported there was an ongoing issue with the minor.

About an hour after the first incident, the minor threatened a 17-year-old female in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue. Parrott said the 17-year-old also knew the minor.

Parrott said although the same person threatened both females, the incidents are unrelated.

Thief takes woman’s social security number

Someone stole documents Wednesday morning containing personal information from a 55-year-old woman at FedEx Office, 2518 Green Bay Rd., Parrott said.

The woman was working on a computer inside the store and did not see the thief.

Parrott said the documents had private information, including the woman’s social security number.
