No one likes to talk frankly about racism. That’s why David Mamet’s 2009 play “Race,” currently playing at The Goodman Theatre in Chicago, has the potential to be so ground-breaking. A show that is explicitly about a taboo topic – even the title has all the subtlety of a blunt ax – has potential to challenge and inform the viewer. Instead, Mamet’s play takes
