A group of men stole eight boxes of candy worth $150 from a Mobil gas station, 140 Chicago Ave., Tuesday evening, police said.

A gas station employee said five to seven unknown men entered the store, took the candy without paying and fled on foot, Evanston Police Cmdr. Tom Guenther said.

The employee will work with police to identify the men, he said.

A man stole two mp3 players from the Evanston Target, 2209 Howard St., Monday at approximately 4:15 p.m., Guenther said.
