A man was robbed while walking on Northwestern’s Chicago campus Wednesday afternoon, according to a Northwestern Police news release.

The man was walking with his wife while holding his iPad when a man pushed him to the ground, took his iPad and ran from the scene. This is the third of similar incidents recently in which iPods or iPads have been stolen from people around the Chicago campus, according to the press release.

The robber is described as a black man, approximately 19 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 135 to 140 pounds, according to police. The suspect was wearing a black folded knit cap, a dark quarter-length cloth jacket and dark jeans.

The victim did not receive medical attention.
