Someone took a student’s jacket from a fraternity Saturday night, police said.
The student, who reported his jacket missing Monday morning, told police he went to an event at Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity house, 2339 Sheridan Rd., around 11 p.m. and placed his jacket on a table with about 20 others, McAleer said. The jacket was gone when he went to get it about half an hour later, and the student told police it had not been found when he returned on Sunday.
The jacket contained a black leather wallet holding his debit card, driver’s license and WildCARD, as well as his iPhone and a digital camera, together valued at more than $300, McAleer said.
The student has cancelled his debit card and said he will cancel his phone plan, McAleer said.
