Northwestern will build a $90 million building for the School of Music, to be located just south of Pick-Staiger Concert Hall and Regenstein Hall, NU president Henry Bienen announced today.
The building will consolidate all of the School of Music’s programs into one location.
An architect will be chosen by this summer, with construction beginning by the end of 2009 and completed by 2012.
A use has not been decided for the current School of Music buildings, which will be vacated.
