Parade’ announced as 2010 Dolphin Show

Posted May 26 5:10 p.m., Updated 5:15 p.m.The Dolphin Show’s producers announced Tuesday that the 2010 show will be Parade.

Written by Alfred Uhry and Jason Robert Brown, the musical, set in 1913, tells the story of Leo Frank, who was accused of assaulting and killing a factory employee.

The annual Dolphin Show is “America’s largest student-produced musical.” The show began in 1940 in a swimming pool as a fundraiser and has progressed to a full-fledged student musical housed in Cahn Auditorium.
