An unknown driver scraped a Northwestern student’s parked car Sunday, police said.
The student parked the car, a 2002 Chrysler Sebring, at 9 a.m. in the top level of the South Beach parking structure, 1847 Campus Drive, University Police Assistant Chief Dan McAleer said. Sometime before 4 p.m., somebody driving another car struck the side view mirror and left scrapes along the front door and rear door on the passenger side.
Security cameras were pointed away from the parking spot and did not capture the collision, McAleer said.
The driver did not leave contact information.
There are no leads.
