Students Earn Extra Cash, Network Through Part-Time Jobs

Across the nation, college students are putting the demands of their jobs before their scholarly obligations. At Northwestern, however, several students have learned to balance school work and their jobs.

And they still have time to socialize.

According to a recent study conducted by the American Council on Education, college students are more likely to work than live on campus, apply for financial aid, attend a four-year institution or study full-time. About 80 percent of college students work while attending school.
