Dear Readers,

If you are like most Daily readers, the Forum Page is the first place you turn (after the crossword, obviously). So we on the Forum Page want to make sure we’re giving you something worthwhile to read during lecture.

If all goes according to plan, the columnists featured below should be among the most interesting and funniest you’ve seen in the Daily. The cartoonists will be controversial as always. The editorials this quarter will tackle issues more in-depth than in the recent past.

How do you jump on the bandwagon of this page of awesomeness? Write a letter to the editor or a guest column. Send letters (up to 300 words) and guest columns (about 550 words) to

[email protected].

This quarter we’ll also allow readers to submit Highs and Lows. So if you have any rants or raves about this week at Northwestern, Forum wants to hear about it (in about 250 words).

We want intelligent, articulate and relevant letters. HINT: The earlier in the quarter you submit, the better your chances are of seeing your name in the Daily.

Who knows? Some Music professor might state that the moon’s made of cheese and we’ll be forced to run letters screaming about that all quarter.

Don’t miss your opportunity to be heard.

Forum Editor Diana Scholl is a Medill junior. She can be reached at [email protected].
