Northwestern should reverse the decision it announced last week and continue to offer its free Pubweb service, which has offered four megabytes of web storage space to NU students, faculty and staff since 1996.
NU Information Technology decided to end the service because of the fact that only five percent of students use their Pubweb accounts. That still means that NU is pulling the plug on hundreds of students who enjoy a legitimate, free web hosting service. By this logic, NU should have wiped out the Mathematics department years ago
