The 9/11 Effect

Many awoke that morning to finish packing or head to the

airport. It was just four days

before New Student Week at Northwestern when the Class of 2005 and the world were stunned, saddened and forever changed by the attacks of

Sept. 11, 2001.

This year’s graduating class is the first to go through college in the post-9/11 world. In this
