It didn’t take long for Weinberg freshman Helen Valenstein to start packing on the pounds. Unlimited buffets and tantalizing desserts, midnight snack sessions complete with pizza and pop, and alcohol soon took their toll.
Valenstein stepped on a scale at Sports Pavilion and Aquatics Center three weeks into her arrival on campus this year and was shocked to find she had gained 10 pounds.
