Documentary shows Metallica’s abated anger

A once-successful heavy-metal band with copious riches, numerous hits, and millions of fans worldwide whose members hate each other and haven’t released a studio album in five years. It sounds like the formula for an episode of VH1’s “Behind the Music.”
