Carlos Flores never believed people would see the pictures he started taking as a young man in 1970s Chicago.
But now Flores is known as the unofficial chronicler of Chicago’s Puerto Rican history. His photographs will depict 30 years of triumph and struggle in the community at an exhibit opening today at the City Gallery located in the Historic Water Tower.
