An estimated 300,000 people attended the second annual Women’s March on Chicago, including many Northwestern students who traveled south on Saturday morning to join the rally at Grant Park. This year’s focus was March to the Polls, encouraging women to vote in midterm and local elections in 2018. Similar marches took place in several U.S. cities and around the world, including New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.  as well as Rome, Tokyo, and Munich.
