Captured: Evanston’s Fourth of July Parade

Evanston’s 93rd annual Fourth of July parade kicked off at 2 p.m. Saturday on Central Street in north Evanston. With 140 entrants allowed in the parade, the event drew onlookers from the city and beyond, some of who may participate in a run before the parade and stay for Evanston’s fireworks display at dusk.
