Captured: Dillo Day 2015

Welcome to The Daily’s photo blog: Captured. This is a space to share photos by The Daily’s staff as well as photos from members of our community. Students can submit entries to be considered from their classes, vacation or just from around NU by emailing [email protected].

Dillo Day, the annual music festival on the Lakefill, was canceled Saturday due to bad weather. High winds and heavy rain forced University and Mayfest officials to shut down the concert. Mayfest alerted students around 3:40 p.m. about the cancellation.

The festival was scheduled to feature Miguel, Odesza, Charli XCX, A$AP Ferg and Saint Motel on the main stage. None of those artists were able to perform.
