A body found Monday night near O’Hare International Airport has been identified as an Evanston resident who was reported missing Sept. 8.

The body was confirmed as Keith Tomaszewsky, 55, according to a report from the Cook County medical examiner. An autopsy is pending.

Chicago police discovered his body in a remote parking lot of the airport at 7:10 p.m., authorities said. The cause of death is under investigation, and police declined to comment on the status.

Tomaszewsky was last seen on Sept. 7 after leaving his house on the 3200 block of Hartzell Street to run errands. His car was later found at O’Hare, police said.

Police said the Evanston man suffered from a medical condition and they were concerned he would hurt himself.
