A Northwestern graduate student was robbed of his smartphone this morning near the Evanston campus.
The student was walking east in the 600 block of Foster Street when a man grabbed his phone and continued running toward campus. The student chased the thief to no avail. The incident happened at about 9:40 a.m., in broad daylight.
The Evanston Police Department and University Police could not find the man, and no detailed description was immediately available.
